semester plans
what would you like to spend at least half (maybe the whole) semester learning about?
I would like to learn about the people around me, but I want them to have the opportunity to tell me things I might not specifically ask about. It could be people I know really well or people I've only recently met. In a more general scope i would like to learn about what physical traits become like a historical mapping of a person's life experience.
what field of study does it typically reside in (psychology, biology, english, art history, etc.)?
psychology? biology? history i guess?
what interests you about it?
i think it would be a good opportunity to learn more about the people around me.
how will you use/incorporate the figure to explore these questions?
would i would like to do is give people the ability to guide me in the subject of my work, whether it be a drawing of them or a part of them.
what is your planned method of investigation and research?
I would like to ask people to choose a physical aspect of themselves that tells a story, or reveals something about them that i might not already know. or tell give me a physical part of themselves that they find important, like a runners feet, artists hands or swimmers legs etc.
where will you learn about this subject?
i guess by asking
what media, scale, format, etc. will you use as you create your drawings?
i would like the media to reflect the individual as much as possible, or possibly leave it to them to choose
